Chef Town

Chef Town is an interesting game. Like typical cooking games you must make your customers happy, expand your restaurant and make multiple dishes of food. However this is also has the added aspect of a farming game where you have to go and collect the needed items and than make the dishes, sometimes having to prep things like bread dough or grind coffee beans. You have to plant fruits and vegetables as well as keep up with the demand if there is a special order.
While this game is fun to play, I didn't like the feel of it as a whole, thought it had too many aspects in gameplay and in time didn't enjoy the game as much as I had to start.
In all though fun, I give this game a 3/5 stars.
Love as always

Frozen Ice Queen 2

I have a daughter who just turned 5 and loves anything to do with Frozen, dress-up, Barbie... basically anything "girly". So when she saw this game she obviously wanted to try it out. I naturally agreed but figured I would check it out before I let her play.
However instead of using money I don't have to buy the full version I got the free-to-play and checked it out.
Like most dress-up games anymore it focuses on the beauty and looks over anything else. You had to wash her face, take care of acne and eyebrows, moisturize, and half a dozen other things before you got to the makeup area and could choose what you wanted either "Ella" or two other princesses to look like. You couldn't pick out her clothes but could pick out her hair, makeup, tiara, earrings and the background.
It was fun and if it wasn't for the constant pop-up ads that would crop up every few minutes I probably would have kept it on my phone to let my daughter play it.
This being said I give this game a 3/5 stars. Mainly because if it wasn't for the constant pop-ups I would have been able to enjoy it more. If you do want to get this, I recommend you pay for the full version so you don't have to deal with the headache of constantly having to close ads.

Speedy Jump

I'm one who enjoys a good swipe based game; swipe down you roll/slide, swipe up you jump. However with Slidey Jump instead of having it set so the camera is behind you (like with games like Despicable Me Minion Rush, Subway Surfer or Looney Toons  Rush) you have it on the side.
With this game like many other swipe based game you see the object coming at you and have to act accordingly. But it's a little harder than you would think.
Despite the multiple bad reviews I saw on Google Play about this game I thought I would at least try it once and give way own opinion.
Though it has its faults, and probably needs a good update to make it work better, it is fun and by the same maker as the Prison Escape I reviewed earlier today.
Though it is fun, I cannot look over the glitches it does have. Therefore my star rating for this game is an unfortunate 3/5 stars
If you're interested in this game you are more than welcome to try it out for yourself however I wouldn't be one to recommend it to my friends or family.

Escaping The Prison

I have played this series online on the computer many times. The game play is the same for the phone, just as fun and funny. All in all the makers kept the game experience the same for the phone as it is online.
Star rating: 5/5 stars. Would play again and again and again.

Gamer Momma Lives!

A bit about me:
My name.... is Silverwood Foxflame, no it's not but I go by this for my own reasons, Just call me Silver.
I'm a married mom of three kids, I love to game. This blog will be just my reviews of different games, be it for the Android, computer or X-Box360. Even pen & paper games experiences like the D&D campaign I am in with my husband, or that I overhear from my husband's game that he is in without me.
Yes I will review kids games because I'm a mom, but no it won't only be just kids games, I love playing all kinds of games and some I try out before I let our oldest son, 6 going on 7, play or even our daughter, 5, play and I think other parents should have as many areas open to them to read on games they are thinking about for their children.
I may even talk about books that I have read in the past or am currently rereading or am reading for the first time. I don't have many books yet, my library has been suffering because of different reasons and actually, unfortunately dwindled due to moves or other issues and I am building it back up very slowly, the majority of my library right now consists of cookbooks but I do have other books as well.
I hope you all enjoy my blog, and my stories. This is just random stuff, I will be at some point linking my Twitch and Twitter accounts here, but for now, I am still in the process of getting things set up the way I like them to be.
That's all for now. Signing off,
Silver
